HOW DOES YOUR BELT SYSTEM WORK?

IS YOUR SCHOOL AFFILIATED WITH ANY ORGANIZATIONS?
Yes. We follow Kukkiwon guidelines. We also currently compete in USAT and World Taekwondo events. We also use 20/20 Armor vests to help advance our student's training.
WHAT WILL BE TAUGHT WITHIN YOUR PROGRAM?
Our program is broken into the following sections:
Language/History
We learn taekwondo related Korean terms and the development of the art.
Basic Techniques
Strikes, Block, Kicks and Stances!
Forms (Poomsae)
A new form will be taught prior to testing for each belt level.
Self-Defense (Ho Shin Sool)
You will learn sets of different self-defense techniques for a variety of situations.
Sparring (Kyorugi)
You have the opportunity to participate in the sport aspect of taekwondo by learning technique and strategies to use while in a sparring match.
Kyukpa (Board Breaking)
Using the kicking striking techniques you have learned to break boards and/or bricks.
